Nepal Bird Watching Tour

Today, after breakfast you will drive to Godawari Botanical Park where you can start a bird watching. After birding today you will stay at hotel in Godawari. Overnight at hotel with bed & breakfast basis.

Today, after breakfast you will have scenic drive (5 hours) or fly (25 minutes) to reach Chitwan. After arrival at Chitwan you will transfer at pre-booked hotel by our representative. After short refreshment at hotel evening time you will enjoy birding at bank of Rapti River with stunning sunset view. Overnight at hotel with breakfast, lunch & dinner basis

Today, after breakfast you will enjoy full day bird watching. We can have elephant safari or jeep safari to view some varieties of birds inside Chitwan National Park. We can found more than 543 species of birds including Bengal florican, fly catcher, Bee-eaters, Stork-billed Kingfishers, Swamp francolin, Grey-crowned Prinia, bulbuls, mynahs, jungle fowl and egrets. Overnight at hotel with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, after morning breakfast you will have scenic drive (4 hours) to Koshi Tappu Reserve. After arrival at Koshi Tappu, you will have short rest at hotel. Evening time you will enjoy bird watching with over 400 species of birds recorded so far. Ospreys, Peregrine Falcon, Storks, Black Ibis, Honey Kites, and Black Headed Orioles etc. are the some of that you will get chance to encounter throughout the day. Overnight at hotel with bed & breakfast basis.

After breakfast you will enjoy jungle activities and bird watching. After birding you will back to hotel for lunch and take some rest. Evening time you will enjoy jungle bird watching with jungle walk. Overnight at hotel with breakfast, lunch & dinner basis.

Today, after breakfast drive (9-10 hours) or fly (35 minutes) back to Kathmandu. You will enjoy half day Kathmandu city sightseeing. You will visit cultural and world heritage sites including Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Basantapur Durbar Square and Boudhanath Stupa. Overnight at hotel with Bed & Breakfast basis.
 

Today, our company representative will transfer you to airport for your home country or onward destination. 
 

Yes, our company representative will be there to greet you in airport. He will be displaying your name outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel by our private vehicle. 
 

Best season for tour is usually March-April and October-November but Chitwan wildlife tour can be done in February, June, April, May and December as well. 
 

It depends upon season. During winter (November to February), It is colder at night time and relatively warmer during the day time, with the temperature ranging from around 4 degree at night to 23 degree at day time. Between March and May, the weather stay perfect as the temperature averages 25 degree during the day time. From September to December, following to monsoon the temperature gets cooler and allows for a great time to travel. The average temperature during this season is 22 degree. 

 

We provide two or three star level hotel accommodation for the entire tour. The hotel offer the facilities of attached bathrooms, dining room, a bar, internet access, hot shower and so forth. If you want to upgrade the accommodation to a five star hotel, you have to pay additional charge. 
 

All the restaurants that we dine at cater for continental, Chinese, Mexican, American based cuisine with some local influences, always plenty to choose from. 
 

ATMs are available in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Biratnagar. Major credit cards are accepted in all places but you need to pay 4% extra as bank levy, which might make cash more preferable. 

 

We estimate USD 15 to 20 a day will enough to buy chocolates, water bottle and a few drinks. 
 

Depending on nature of travel we provide different vehicle service. We provide tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and airport pickups-drops. We book flight ticket through Buddha Air, Yeti Air and simrik Airlines for the flight Kathmandu, Bharatpur, Biratnagar and vice versa. 

 

There are telephones and internet facilities available so you can always stay in contact with your family. 
 

Laundry service is easily available at your hotel and there are many laundry stores in the Kathmandu, Chitwan and Biratnagar. Please note that laundry service is not included in the tour package price. 
 

Yes, they have received training from NATHM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management).They has also received high altitude first aid training from KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project). 
 

Actually tipping is not compulsory, but small gesture of thanks to your guides. The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide.
