Itinerary

After arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by our company representative who will transfer you to pre-booked hotel. After short refreshment in hotel, evening time transfer to typical Nepali restaurant for dinner with cultural dance program. Overnight at hotel with Bed & Breakfast basis.

Today, early morning flight to Lukla by a fixed wings twin otter plane. After arrival at lukla airport we begin our trek. We walk on a trekking route that gradually descends to Cheplung village from where we can enjoy stunning views of Mount Khumbila. We gradually descend to Phakding. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, our trekking trail passes through a lush pine forest. After short break we resume our hike on the trail which goes north through the beautiful Benkar valley. We cross gurgling Dudh Koshi River and pass Monjo & Chumoa villages. After ascending further, we reach beautiful Namche Bazaar which is also known as mini Thamel. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis. 

Today, we will spend one more day for acclimatization, which makes us get used to the high altitude in the Himalayas. We explore Namche Bazaar where we can find internet cafes, shops, restaurants, ATMs, government’s offices and beautiful local market. We can enjoy the sunrise views over the mountains including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse, Kongde and so on. Moreover we visit Hillary school and beautiful monastery. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, our trail descent to the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful rhododendron forest with incredible mountain views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde to Tengboche. We explore Tengboche monastery – the largest monastery in the Everest region. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, our trail passes through green forest with different variety of lush trees – rhododendron, conifers and birch. This trek rewards us with breath taking views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. Our hike moves towards the Imja valley and starts climbing up to Dingboche. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Dingboche is a famous acclimatization stop for climber and trekkers headed to Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest and Imja Tse. During acclimatization we take day hikes to Chukkung valley or Nagarjun hill for breath taking views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Chalotse and Tawache. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, we begin the day with a gentle climb to Duglha at the ending point of the terminal moraine of the incredible Khumbu Glacier. Now, our hike starts climbing up a steep trail to reach Chupki Lhara. We find prayer flags and array of stones used as memorials to 10 times Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (climbing guide) and American mountaineer Scott Fischer. We resume our hike to the Kumbu Glacier moraine and enjoy views of several peaks – Mahalangur himal, Lingtren, Pumori and Khumbutse. We follow the valley to reach Lobuche. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, we hike to Everest Base Camp via Gorak Shep. The trail from here can be misleading so we suggest following your group leader or Sherpa diligently. Today our hike is a little bit strenuous due to high altitude. We pass through moraine, rocky dunes and streams before reaching the Everest Base Camp. From Base camp we can enjoy views of mountains including Pumori, Khumbuste, Nuptse etc. After passing great time at Everest base camp we get back to guest house at Gorakshep. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, after early morning breakfast start our hike towards Kalapatthar (5,545 m). Kalapatthar is a famous view point for Everest trekking from here we can enjoy panorama view of magnificent mountains including Mount Everest. After spending great time at Kalapatthar return back to Gorak Shep and take a adventure Helicopter ride to Lukla. Overnight at guesthouse with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.

Today, early morning scenic flight to Kathmandu. After arrival at Kathmandu transfer to hotel, you can take a rest and afternoon you can do some souvenir shopping for your family, friends and relatives. If you want to do sightseeing in Kathmandu, we may do that. Evening time transfer to famous restaurant for farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our trip. Overnight at hotel with Bed & Breakfast basis.

Our company representative will drop you to Tribhuwan International airport for your final departure.

Faq

Everest Base Camp Trek is suitable for any kind of person who is moderately fit, no previous experience is required. To condition yourself for the trek, some physical fitness programs such as walking, running, swimming and hiking are recommended before you embark on your journey. Any person suffering from a pre-existing medical condition or diseases must seek medical advice before considering any trek.

Yes, our company representative will be there to greet you. He will be displaying your name outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to pre-booked hotel by our private vehicle. 
 

Best season for trekking is usually March-April and October-November but Everest base camp trek can be done in February, June, April, May and December as well.

Weather in the mountains is very difficult to predict. At night it is generally cold and the days are generally warm. The temperature could be as high as 30 degree Celsius to minus 15 degree Celsius low. 

Depending on nature of travel we provide different vehicle service. We provide tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and airport pickups-drops. We book flight ticket through Tara Air, Goma Air for the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and vice versa. 
 

There are wireless telephone in some village along the trekking routes from which you can contact with your family and friends. Some place there is also internet access which you can use by paying some charges. Also you can buy sim card for your cell phone by giving your Xerox copy of your passport and PP size photo.

In the cities, off course yes but once you are outside of the cities, all you have to pay in cash. Also you have exchange the currency in Nepali rupees before you go outside the cities. 
 

Yes, charging facilities will be available in every guesthouse & lodges but sometime there maybe load shedding problem so it’s better to bring power bank or spare batteries. 
 

There are many restaurants available in Kathmandu where you can find any delight of your choice. But in trekking route most tea houses menu you may find noodles soup, steam mo:mo, daal bhat, green salad, finger chips, eggs, potatoes, fresh vegetables. You can get tea, coffee, hot lemon, hot chocolate. Every day breakfast, lunch, dinner will be at a lodge.

Lodges mostly serve the vegetarian meals so there is no problem at all for vegetarian. Also we always recommend our clients to eat vegetarian meals to avoid food poisoning. Non-veg meals at the high altitude are not safe for the stomach. 
 

Hot water in bucket will be provided for shower and you have to pay for hot water.

Yes, they have received training from NATHM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management). They has also received high altitude first aid training from KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project). 

 

Actually tipping is not compulsory, but small gesture of thanks to your guides and local porters. The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide.
