Muktinath Temple Tour in Nepal

Early morning drive (22 km) an hour to reach Dakshinkali temple. After performing rituals drive back to hotel and enjoy breakfast. After short refreshment in hotel we will drive to Pokhara (200 km) 5-6 hours. Evening time you will enjoy boating at Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi temple lies in a small island on the south east section of famous Phewa Lake. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara with Bed and Breakfast basis. 

Early morning enjoy scenic flight (15 minutes) to reach jomsom airport. After reaching airport we will drive an hour (25 km) to reach Muktinath village. We need to walk half an hour or take horse to reach Muktinath temple premises. After taking bath in 108 holy tapes and ponds in front of temple (Muktikunda) perform rituals. After spending great time at Muktinath temple you will have lunch and drive back to Jomsom. Overnight at hotel in Jomsom with Bed and Breakfast basis.

Today, early morning fly back to Pokhara. After short refreshment in hotel you will enjoy full day sightseeing tour in Pokhara, you will visit Bindabasani temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave and mountain museum. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara with Bed and Breakfast basis. 

Today, early morning drive 2 and half hours to Kurintar and take cable car to reach Manakamana temple. After performing rituals drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast basis. 

Today, if you have free time till your departure, you can enjoy souvenir shopping in Thamel area or local market (Asan bazaar). Our company representative will meet you and transfer to airport for your final departure to your home country or onward destination.  

Weather in the Muktinath is very difficult to predict. At night it is generally cold and the days are generally warm. The temperature could be as high as 25 degree Celsius to -15 degree Celsius low.

During trip guesthouse does not facilitate with heater or air conditioner. 

There are lots of restaurants available in Kathmandu and Pokhara city area where you can find American, continental, Chinese, Korean, Indian etc. But in Muktinath most guest houses menu you may find noodles soup, steam mo:mo, Nepali dal bhat, green salad, finger chips, eggs, potatoes, fresh vegetables. Also you can get tea, coffee, hot lemon, hot chocolate. 

Guesthouses mostly serve the vegetarian meals so there is no problem at all for vegetarian. Also we always recommend our guest to eat vegetarian meals to avoid food poisoning. Non-veg meals at high altitude are not good for stomach.
